The Constitution of Zafunkville
Preamble
The purpose of this constitution is to form a stable and just government and create a more perfect country for it’s citizens. This includes a fair justice system, protective military and stable economy.
Article I: Objective
The objective of this constitution is to create a stable and fair democratic government. It is created to insure the maintenance of happiness among the civilization by resolving any problems among the community as fair as possible, keep citizens working consistently, and to maintain their independence.
Article II: Powers
The powers of this Constitution include two main branches; one to make laws, Legislative branch, and one to carry them out, Executive branch. Subcategories of these main branches include: (1) printing currency, (2) regulate international trades, (3) regulate governing body,(4) declare war and prevent it, (5) manage army and navy, (6) regulate finances, (7) and to create and/or relieve laws.
Article III: Governing Body
The members of this Constitution are, in the Legislative Branch, consisting of 100 members divided in each state accordingly. These members represent their state and will follow the laws flawlessly, but if issues with the state occur, they can suggest to adjust the laws to fit what is needed. If these adjustments do not effect or even worsen the state, then they will return to the original law. The members in the Executive Branch have no set amount. These members represent their state and will be responsible for checking over current laws and carry suggested laws out. Both of these branches will be constantly monitored by a management committee.
Article IV: Management Committee
The Management Committee will be responsible for monitoring the Governing body. To make sure they are moving on a positive track and managing best solutions with minimal risk. They are under the Executive Branch, but monitor both branches. Their duty is to do their best to improve the country, but the main goal is to keep it stable and fair.
Article V: Officers
There are two main officers, one for each branch. The main officer for the Legislative Branch is called the Secretary. The main officer of the Executive Branch is the President. Each officer is elected through votes throughout the country and can be removed, voted to stay, and be elected from votes.
Article VI: Meetings
Meetings will be scheduled by either of the main officers. Representatives of these subcategories of these positions can present a reason to schedule a meeting anytime, but has to be approved by both main officers.
Article VII: Finance
The financial branch is managed by the Treasurer. The treasurers duty is regulate the entire branch by approving and rejecting actions of the sub-branches. Each sub-branch holds a duty to increase the efficiency of the branch as a whole. These duties include: printing currency, regulate international trades, manage budget and savings, and managing spending.
Article VIII:
Amendments to the Constitution
1. Protects freedom of speech, religion, and press.
2. Protects the right to bear arms.
3. Protects the citizen’s right of preventing the government to place troops inside private homes.
4. Enforces the fact that everyone is equal, no matter the race or skin color.
5. Guarantees the power of the government does not exceed over the peoples.
6. Amendment is not exhaustive, and the rights of the citizens that are not listed still apply.
7. Guarantees that, for every civil case, there is a quick and fair trial in the court of law.
8. That every citizen abides by these amendments.
