The Laws of Zafunkville
Criminal Laws:
• Murder- If a murder is committed in Zafunkville, the murderer(s) will have to go to court in order to try for his/her freedom, whether they are a citizen or not. If he/she is guilty, then they will go to jail for no less than 15 years, but can be more depending on the situation. They have the right to a retrial, but needs to be accepted by the judge of the court.
• Domestic Violence- If there is a case of Domestic Violence, the individual(s) to cause such harm will have to go to court in order to try for his/her freedom, whether they are a citizen or not. If he/she is guilty, then they will go to jail for a number of years determined by the judge, but cannot be less than 5 years. They have the right to a retrial, but needs to be accepted by the judge of the court.
• Animal Abuse- If there are any intentional abusive actions that harm an animal, the guilty individual(s) will be sentenced to spend a determined (by the judge) number of years in jail. They have the right to a retrial, but needs to be accepted by the judge of the court.
• Discrimination- If there is a case of discrimination; the guilty individual(s) will have to go to court in order to try for his/her freedom. If he/she is guilty, then they will go to jail for 4 years. They have the right to a retrial, but needs to be accepted by the judge of the court.
• Kidnapping- If there is one or more individual(s) who take other individual(s) against their will, it is defined as kidnapping. The guilty individual(s) will have to go to court in order to try for his/her freedom, whether they are a citizen or not. If he/she is guilty, then they will go to jail for a number of years determined by the judge, but cannot be less than 10 years. They have the right to a retrial, but needs to be accepted by the judge of the court.
• Avoiding Taxes- If one or more individual(s) are intentionally avoiding paying their taxes, or other legal financial charge, they will be guilty of avoiding taxes. If found guilty, the individual(s) will have to go to court in order to try for his/her freedom, whether they are a citizen or not. If he/she is guilty, then they will go to jail for 4 years. They have the right to a retrial, but needs to be accepted by the judge of the court.
Immigration Laws:
• Illegal Immigration- If there are one or more an illegal alien(s) found in the boundaries of Zafunkville, then they are to be arrested and will be deported after a trial in the court of law for their intentions of entering Zafunkville.
Drug Laws:
• Legal Drugs-Citizens of Zafunkville may consume some drugs, but only in moderation. These drugs include: caffeine, tobacco, marijuana, alcohol, psilocybin, aspirin, and penicillin. If these substances overcome the user’s self-control, and the individual becomes dependent on it, then they are to be stripped of the privilege and are to undergo treatment. The a few examples of signs of dependency include: overusing the substances, depending on them to achieve happiness and functioning, and others.
• “Other” Drugs- “Other” drugs include any drugs than the ones above. They are to not illegal, but heavily monitored and can only be obtained through a pharmacist. If found with these drugs, or under the influence of them, and do not have a prescription, the individual(s) will be arrested and taken to court in order to try for his/her freedom, whether they are a citizen or not. If he/she is guilty, then they will go to jail for a number of years determined by the judge. They have the right to a retrial, but needs to be accepted by the judge of the court.
Firearm and Other Weapon Laws:
• Restrictions- A citizen of Zafunkville is allowed to own any firearms, but the owner needs to have a particular license for each different firearm owned.
Amendments of Zafunkville:

If he/she is guilty, then they will go to jail for no less than 3 years, determined appropriate by the judge. They have the right to a retrial, but needs to be accepted by the judge of the court.
• Business Requirements- If one or more business owner(s) want to have any gambling in their facilities, they must follow these requirements:
• They must have a specific license for the type of gambling they want to support.
• They must agree to the responsibilities and other agreements.

• They must have a hunting license for the specific type of game.
• They must agree on the responsibilities of hunting.
• They must hunt in an ethical manner.
• They must take care of the land they are hunting on.
• They must not trespass.
• Fishing Laws- In order for a citizen to fish, they must meet these requirements:
• They must have a specific fishing license for what they are fishing.
• They must agree to the responsibilities of fishing.
• They must agree to take care of the water they fish in.
• They must fish in an ethical manner.
• They must not trespass.
