Within a country, a multiple amount of states are present. There are a total of five states in Zafunkville. These states each have their own flag to represent what is important in, not the individual state, but the entire country as a whole. Within the flag are several symbolic figures strategically placed and colored.
The first state of Zafunkville is Blooland. Its flag is a standard rectangle, divided in three pieces. One division line goes from the top-left corner to the bottom-right. Then another division line in the top-right corner halfway to the bottom-left corner. Within the largest triangle, which represents God, has another triangle in it. And within that triangle is an eyeball. This symbol refers to the importance of God. The second largest triangle has a square in it. This symbol represents the importance of the people. The smallest triangle has three lines shooting from the middle point to the side of the flag, evenly spaced. Then three semicircles evenly spaced from the center. This represents the diversity and flow of the state’s governing people.
The second state is Clearday Bay. Its flag is a standard rectangle, divided into three pieces. The division lines are positioned like a “V”, with the point of it in the middle of the flag. The largest triangle, colored blue, is the uppermost one and has two symbolic figures in it. One is an eye-ball right in the center, representing God. And the in the cradle of the “V” there is a checkered cone filling the cradle. This represents the diverse world. In the right triangle, colored yellow, is divided into four rays. This represents joy and happiness in the community. The right triangle, colored green, has no symbolic figures. This represents the governing body.
The third state is called Broadrays. Its flag is a standard rectangle, with several symbolic meanings in it. The most significant symbol is a semi-circle located in the bottom-center of the flag. This semi-circle is divided into two, and that arc is divided into two. The largest part of the semi-circle is colored blue for God. The other two portions are colored green and yellow for the governing body and the citizens of Broadrays. On the left side of the flag, there are gray mountains with a sun behind them. This symbolizes the importance of greeting the rising and setting sun. Beneath the mountains are a few strips of green and blue creating a quarter of a circle. This represents the importance of plants and water. In the top-right corner of the flag are seven rays protruding from the corners. The outermost gray, then green, yellow and finally one blue. These rays meet a half-square containing two balloon-like figures reaching for the one and the other. On the bottom-right corner is also another set of rays protruding out to the half-square. This design symbolizes true balance.
The fourth state is called Starlick. Its flag is a standard rectangle with several symbolic figures within it. The largest figure in this flag is an outline of Zafunkville. In the southern most point of the country is the origin of nine rays spreading out evenly. On the tips of these rays are stars. Each ray is either blue with a yellow star, or green with a blue star. This is a reminder that everybody in the country is equal. In the top-left and bottom-right corners of the flag, there are small triangle containing four point stars. They are green and the triangle is blue. The top-right and bottom-left corner contains the same design, but with yellow stars instead. These represent the security and protection provided by the country. Last but not least, there are three circles to the right of the outline of the country. Each circle overlaps the other a third of the way. This represents the unity of the citizens, and country as a whole.
The fifth state is called Solitude. Its flag is a standard rectangle with a simple symbolic figure within it. It is divided into two, with the horizontal division line halfway up the rectangle. The bottom half is the earth and the top half is the sky. In the very center of the flag is a lone tree. This flag represents the genius of its people, showing that God is still higher above and the earth is there to support the people. The sky is colored blue, symbolizing God. The earth is colored brown and tan, symbolizing support.
For every country, there is a national flag created to symbolize the country as a whole. This flag is dispersed throughout the country as a universal symbol. Within it, there are several symbolic figures, colors, and shapes strategically placed. These symbols represent the countries’ soul. This soul is a universal soul that can, and hopefully will, leak out into the citizens lives and live their life to the fullest.
This flag of Zafunkville is a standard rectangular shape, divided into nine triangles. The three main triangles are in the center of the flag, with the top point facing the south side of the flag and the two other points horizontally hitting the east and west sides of the flag. Each of these triangles are stacked on top of each other, each one getting larger as they go down. The empty spaces between these triangles make up the rest of the six triangles.
Within the three main central triangles are three symbols, one for each triangle. The largest, and bottommost, triangle (colored blue) has a rising/setting sun with an eyeball in the center of it. This represents the love of God and the importance of taking time to witness the rising and setting of the sun. The next triangle (colored green), located above the one just discussed, contains two circles meeting together. This symbolizes the unity and equality among the citizens of Zafunkville. Every citizen is equal, no matter their race or color or religion. Finally the third major triangle (colored yellow), located towards the northern area of the flag, is a picture of a daisy underneath a spread tree. This represents the government’s protection of the citizens of Zafunkville. However, this is not to be mistaken for the governing body overpowering its citizens. It is strictly a protective symbol.
The outer six triangles that make up the rest of the space in the rectangle also include a few symbols. Within the triangle to the right of the main triangle (containing the sun and eye), there is a bull elk standing there. This is a symbol the stamina, strength, and nobility of the people of Zafunkville. Each individual is to be respected by one another. Within the triangle above this includes an owl. This owl symbolizes wisdom; wisdom among the citizens of Zafunkville, as well as the governing body. In the triangle above this one, there is a fir branch. This fir branch represents time. Not only time, but the importance of it, because it is what life is made out of and it is to be used wisely. The three triangles two the west of the three main triangles have no symbolic figures within it. However, this does hold a symbolic meaning. It is to be understood that these blank triangles are more like blank canvases, and hold the same creative potential. It is up to the individual to fill in these triangles, once full of creativity and inspiration. It also symbolizes that the citizens of Zafunkville can do anything they want in their life, the stars are the limit; as long as the principles of the symbols within the flag are still followed.
